About me…

Professional Identity

At the heart of my counselling practice are the values of curiosity and kindness. These values help create a cozy and welcoming space where we can safely explore what’s on your mind.

Sometimes, the stories we tell ourselves about our lives aren’t really our own. Through narrative therapy, we gently challenge these stories and open up to new ways of understanding our experiences and connections. While my practice is rooted in narrative therapy, I also incorporate other approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to best support you.

Alongside my counselling work, I’ve had the joy of being a teacher for over 25 years, both in Canada and around the world. I’ve had the privilege of working with kids of all ages and adults, including seniors, and my experiences in diverse cultures and languages have truly broadened my perspective. If you have any questions or just want to chat about your journey, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m here to support you every step of the way, and I can’t wait to connect.

Personal Identity

For over a decade, I have loved singing in a community choir. I have made great connections, which has boosted my confidence and given me more appreciation for how difficult it is to feel confident in the different tasks we take on in our lives. My extended family lives nearby and I enjoy spending time with them. We take birthday parties very seriously.
